The Indiana Academy of Science conducts or sponsors a variety of activities. Annual meetings provide opportunities for members to interact with colleagues, share information, and compare notes. Special meetings and field trips are occasionally held in various locations throughout the state.
In addition to the regular meetings of the Academy, the Junior Academy of Science provides opportunities for high school students to meet with other students in an academically challenging environment and present the results of their research projects to the public.
The Academy schedules BioBlitz events to provide snapshots of the flora and fauna of areas of special interest in Indiana. Indiana scientists participating in these events provide a wealth of knowledge about the state’s natural history.
