Terms commence for newly elected officers, chairs and committee members

First notice of membership dues renewal for upcoming year.

September 17:  IAS Science Talent Search Awards Lunceon, Marian University.


September 15: Fall deadline for receipt by Research Grants Committee of research grant proposals from senior members.

Membership Drive begins. New member invitations sent to prospective members.

Section Chairs email 1st Call for Paper and Poster abstracts to members. (Abstract uploading begins December 1, 2016 and ends February 10, 2017)

October 1: Celebrate Science Indiana (CSI), Indiana State Fairgrounds, Indianapolis

October 1: Indiana Junior Academy of Science Fall Meeting and Competition.
 

October 15: Deadline for nominations for Fellow, Distinguished Scholar and Special Service
Awards.

October 21: Deadline for receipt by Junior Grants Committee of research grant proposals from junior members.

November 5: Fall Council Business Meeting. Indiana State Museum 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Foundation Conference Room 3rd Floor

November 14:  Junior Academy of Science Fall Meeting and Competition. IU Bloomington Campus

January 1: Tax year begins; Membership year begins

January 15: Section chairs e-mails 4th Call for Paper and Poster abstracts to members. Abstracts due by February 10.

January 15: Nominating Committee Chair posts names of nominees for 2017 offices. Voting begins.

February 10: Deadlines for submitting Paper and Poster abstracts for presentations at Meeting

February 15: Deadline fo rmember voting.

February 19: Deadline for Section Chairs to submit abstractss to the Executive Director.

Late February: Executive Director posts Annual Academy Preliminary Program

March 9: Annual Academy Meeting online pre-registration closes

March 24: Spring Council Business Meeting (Friday 2:00 p..m., followed by 6 p.m. Council Reception Dinner
