Give a Gift

Friends of the Indiana Academy of Science continue to support the work of the Academy, in large part, through their annual membership dues. This money has helped to provide many Indiana scientists and science students with opportunities that have made the difference in their research, and exposure. In recent months the Academy has gained the interest and financial support of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Eli Lilly and Company Foundation, Subaru of America, the Acoustical Society of America, Purdue University, and the College of Science at Purdue. These donors have been more than generous with their financial support of the Academy’s youth activities, Fall Forum for the general public, and the 127th Annual Academy Meeting. Almost all of the money the Academy needs to keep our initiatives alive comes from corporations, organizations, and individuals like you. The time has never been better to consider giving a gift to the Academy. Of course there are several ways to accomplish this; however this particular request simply asks you to consider giving a donation in an amount as generous as possible. Working together, we can help shape a future we can all be proud of.

The Indiana Academy of Science is the non-profit professional organization created by some of Indiana’s most accomplished and well-respected scientists over 126 year ago; founded in 1885. It continues to enjoy a high professional stature in the Indiana community, and is presently made up of nearly 1000 of Indiana’s premier scientists from industry and academia, science educators, and science graduate and college level students. Academy members are provided the extraordinary opportunity to advance and share field and laboratory science research, participate in both constituent and interdisciplinary discourse, serve as role models and mentors, and further the opportunity for professional development and growth. Having an interest in the Academy, you understand the need for research dollars, and dollars to provide exposure and participation opportunities for Indiana scientists and young aspiring scientists. We invite you to become part of the Academy’s Annual Giving Campaign.
The Indiana Academy of Science is dedicated to promoting scientific research and diffusing scientific information; to encouraging communication and cooperation among scientists, and to improving education in the sciences.
