Proceedings of the Indiana Academy of Science

The Proceedings of the Indiana Academy of Science is a journal dedicated to promote scientific research and the diffusion of scientific information; to encourage communication and cooperation among scientists; and to improve education in the sciences.

Now that page charges have been removed, this is an opportune time to submit a cost-free manuscript to the Proceedings of the Indiana Academy of Science. Besides the lack of page charges, the Proceedings is an especially appropriate place to publish papers dealing with science in Indiana or the Midwest.

Quick turn-around is now a policy of the Proceedings. Most papers are published within six months of the date of acceptance, and many are published within six months of initial submission. All papers are reviewed by two expert reviewers, and the papers published in the Proceedings are now indexed by all the appropriate indexing services (Biological Abstracts, Chemical Abstracts, on-line services, etc.). So, if you have a paper that has been stuck on your desk for some time, now is a great time to get it into print quickly. Check the inside back cover of a recent copy of the Proceedings for "Instructions to Authors" indicating how to submit your paper or click here for more details.

Volumes 1-98 produced annually. (Casebound volumes provided if available.) Volumes 99 forward produced semiannually. Volumes not available at this time are 1-3, 8, 11, 13, 20, 21, 23-39, 42 and 59.

All back issues of the Proceedings cost $15.00 per issue.
