Science With A Twist (SWAT)

Science With A Twist (SWAT) is a casual science and networking event hosted by the Indiana Academy of Science. These events bring together scientists, educators, engineers, students, and community members for informal conversations about science in a relaxed setting.

The event is typically held at the Indiana Academy of Science’s New Administrative Office Space: Krannert Hall, 1100 W. 42nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208


What to Expect

SWAT events feature short, accessible science talks followed by open discussion and networking. No prior scientific expertise is required — just curiosity and an interest in science.
