Wildflower & Habitat Restoration Tour (TEST)
Join us for a day of discovery in partnership with People for Pollinators. This small-group tour visits five sites recognized for restoring native habitats, supporting pollinators, and demonstrating innovative ecological stewardship — with naturalists and experts on hand at every stop to share their work firsthand.
This tour is a pilot for a future series of educational and fundraising tours spotlighting conservation efforts across Indiana. Space is limited to keep the experience personal and meaningful.
No prior science background needed, just curiosity!
Schedule
Tour will depart from the Indiana Academy of Science Administrative Office (Krannert Hall, 1100 W. 42nd Street, Indianapolis, IN 46208) promptly at 9am. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to get checked in and grab your seat on the bus!
- 9:00am: Tour departs from IAS
- Morning Tour Stops: Carpenter Nature Preserve, Holliday Park, Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park
- 1:00pm: Lunch at the Indiana Academy of Science
- Afternoon Tour Stops: The Nature Conservancy, White River State Park
- 4:15pm: Return to IAS and conclusion of tour
