Science Talent Search

Program Overview:

The Indiana Academy of Science (IAS) Science Talent Search is open to 11th and 12th-grade students across Indiana. Students submit original research projects and compete for scholarships and statewide recognition. First-place winners receive $1,500 scholarships and are selected to represent Indiana at the American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS) conference in Phoenix, Arizona, with travel expenses paid by IAS.

  • Teacher Form (Submit Online): August 30, 2025 (Deadline has Passed.)
  • Student Form (Submit Online): September 30, 2025 (Deadline has Passed.)
• Final Project Deadline: October 30, 2025 (Deadline has Passed.)
• Competition: November 15, 2025
